The Inbetweeners Movie DVD Review

The Inbetweeners is one of the most popular comedies to have been launched on the UK TV screens for a number of years and follows the lives of four teenagers as they go through the final years of school. The program has had three series in the UK and  following this, a movie was produced in which the four boys took a holiday together.

This movie has now been released on DVD and it is an extremely funny film to purchase if you haven't already seen it. The film has won a number of awards for its outlandish nature and it is certainly not for those that are faint hearted. The film tackles a lot of subjects that are thought to be taboo buy a lot of people although if you are open to this, you will find the film hilarious. The film on DVD has a lot of features that were not seen in the cinema including the feature film in 5.1 surround sound and then an extra disc.

The other disc that is included contains the making of the film, videos of things that were done in rehearsals for the film and much more. There are also deleted scenes, bloopers and a sims parody. There is the Sky Premiere and London Premiere too. This DVD is a much have for any fan of the Inbetweeners and the film. There is in total, 2 hours of unseen material.

Battlefield 3 Playstation 3 Game Review

Battlefield 3 is the latest game available for the Playstation 3 console in the Battlefield series of games which have been hugely popular since the release of the Battlefield game a few years ago. Battlefield 3 brings a host of new features to the gameplay and is a fantastic game for anyone to be spending their Christmas money on. The game was released in the Autumn and has features including Frostbite 2, Feel the Battle and much more.

The Frostbite 2 feature is the latest engine for the game to run with and it offers a lot in terms of performance. The Frostbite 2 feature takes the animation, destruction, lighting and more to the next level in the game and it really shows when you are playing it. There is of course also the Feel the Battle feature which allows you to really feel the impacts in the battle like never before by attacking your senses when playing the game. This is something that works extremely well and really takes the game to the next level. It also gives it the edge over other similar games out there.

The Battlefield 3 game is also a game that will allow you to play online and there are a number of great features in this area too. For example, the vehicle warfare online is incredible and gives a fantastic user experience. Battlefield 3 is a fantastic game and is available from Amazon for a great price.

Apple iPod Touch 8GB Fourth Generation Review

The Apple iPod Touch is one of the most popular types of the iPod on the market today and now, it is in the fourth generation from Apple. The fourth generation of the device is the slickest looking and feature packed version of the iPod Touch yet and it offers a lot to users.

On first glance, you might be forgiven for mistaking the iPod Touch for an iPhone as it looks almost identical. As well as this, it is actually identical in the features that it has apart from the calling and texting features of course. With the updated iOS5 operating system on the device however, it can be used to send messages to iPhones and other iPod Touch devices using the iMessage functionality. One of the most desired consoles this Christmas will once again be the Nintendo Wii and one of the bestselling games at the moment for the console is the Just Dance 3 game. This is the third game in a line up of Just Dance games and it is available top buy right now. The game is suitable for players over the age of 10 and it is a game that will provide hours of fun on Christmas morning, or any other morning of the year for that matter.

Just Dance 3 is a game that will kick the party into full swing, allowing you to get dancing to the numerous songs on offer on the game. There are actually more than 45 tracks included in the Just Dance 3 game which will keep you entertained for hours and hours. The songs that are included come from a variety of genre’s too, meaning that there is something for everybody on the game. There are some of the biggest hits out there too including recent hits like ‘Party Rock Anthem’ and many more.

Because the game has a variety of songs from different genres, it is perfect for all the family, from children ranging from around 10 all the way up to parents and grandparents. The Amazon Kindle Fire is the latest tablet PC to cause a stir in the market and it is for good reason too. The Kindle Fire is available in the United States for the price of just $199 making it one of the cheapest tablet PC’s on the market. As well as this, it is created by Amazon; a highly respected brand that many consumers will put a huge deal of trust in. But just how good is the Amazon Kindle fire and what features does it have when compared to other tablet PC’s out there.

The Amazon Kindle Fire has a large 7 inch touch screen which whilst less than the iPad, is perfectly fine for most things. The screen looks great as it has 16 million colours to show you although there have been a few reports of the screen not being that responsive in a few situations. However, overall, this is an area that is great about the product. The Amazon Kindle also allows you to browse the internet using the built in web browser which works pretty well. There are faster tablet browsers out there but it does the job for the price that is paid for the tablet.

Steve Jobs Biography by Walter Isaacson Review

Sadly, around a month and a half ago, Steve Jobs; the CEO of the Apple corporation that has been responsible for some of the most well known products in the world including the iPod, iPhone and iPad devices, passed away. However, in the years up to his passing, Steve Jobs actually commissioned a biography to be written about him and now, this book is available for you to buy.

Steve Jobs biography was written by Walter Isaacson who has written many well known biographies in his time and therefore, is extremely well written. The book is relatively long at over 500 pages but the book doesn’t seem to be a bore when you are reading it. The biography takes you all the way through Steve’s life; from his adoption when he was a baby, all the way through the success and failures of various companies including Apple.

The story that is told within the book is certainly an intriguing one and it will no doubt have you hooked for hours on end as you wait to find out what happened in Steve’s life next. Due to the fact that the book was actually commissioned by Steve himself, the book goes into a lot of detail about personal matters in Steve’s life as he allowed the author to write almost anything he liked within the book.

The author of the book had more than 40 interviews with Steve Jobs himself which make their way into the book and offer a great insight into Steve’s mind.
