A recently introduced Nokia N9 is the best example of that change. The Nokia N9 is the latest innovative smartphone device with Nokia's latest Operating System called "MeeGo", which we had already discussed in our blog before. The new Nokia N9 is the first MeeGo-powered OS smartphone from the Finns, and we really hopes that it won't be the last because it's actually a smart looking device from Nokia.

Today we are going to Review Nokia's N9 Smartphone with MeeGo Operating System. The look and body of Nokia's N9 is quite impressive and you will be pleased when you hold this beauty in your hands. The Nokia's N9 is smart, slim, stylish smartphone released by Nokia after unbelievable success of Symbian^3 and Symbian^1 OS9.5 Smartphones first time having ARM Cortex-A8 OMAP3630 1 Ghz, PowerVRSGX530 processor with 8MP autofocus camera with high performance Carl Zeiss optics.

The camera is positioned more centrally than many other smartphones on the market, which means it's easier to hold - in our brief tests, the pictures felt more like we were taking them on a normal compact, which is definitely a plus. However, there's no physical camera key, which is a real disappointment as Nokia usually loves them and we're real fans, as it means less camera wobble when you're taking a snap. Touch to focus is on offer to improve the quality of your shots, although we didn't see it making much of a difference when we tried it out. The back of the phone is 'pillowed' in the words of Nokia, which means it sits rather nicely in the palm of the hand. The dual-LED powered 8MP camera is covered in some natty Carl Zeiss optics, and features an f2.2 aperture which is better for low-light situations. With no microSD card slot on offer (Nokia says the N9 will come in 16GB and 64Gb variants) the only ports live on the top of the phone, with the headphone jack, a pop-up cover to the microUSB connector and a pop-up tray for the microSIM.

Very good phone. I had all the BlackBerry 9380 with frankly nothing to say. It is very easy to use, do not listen to people who say it is zero, it is no fault with the keys. I understand if you do not know use it, look at the manual, true photo quality, it kills them all! It kills frankly, nothing to say about this phone I would give even 20 / 2O, BEAUTIFUL THE PHONE 

Not like at all! The touch keys lack accuracy and we do a lot of typos to catch up, you have to fight constantly to prevent the phone to make sure what we do not know (such as, for example, when you call consults a contact), tactile, but certainly too: it does not know or does not take to enable or disable functions. In addition to this, the finish is good but the quality of materials is low (very light plastic shell on the back, front easily scratched. Very disappointed! Telephone cupboard joined after three days of use. Too bad for me, but it is horrifying

Welcome friends, welcome to all Nokia fans who are searching the latest and best Nokia phones in the world. We all may know that Nokia has unveiled three new mobile phones under its Asha series. Named Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311, all of these devices come with full capacitive touch screen display along with a brand new S40 Asha operating system.

It should be stated that the new Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311 comes with full touch screen display.

Here I will give details of these Nokia Asha series. At first I will start with Asha 311,then follow the last instruction of every post that given in each post step by step.

The Nokia Asha 311 is a compact touch screen device that comes with a bright and colourful 3 inch scratch resistant capacitive display with polarization filters for a better visual experience. With WiFi and 3.5G connectivity, users can experience blazing fast internet and downloads on this device.

The Asha 311 comes with pre-loaded social client for accessing Face book, Twitter and many other social networks. It also has the most popular messaging service "WhatsApp”. The Nokia Asha 311 also features a 3.2 megapixel camera and pre-installed Nokia Maps, in addition to the 15 level pre-bundled versions of Angry Birds. Along with that the device is powered with a powerful 1 GHz processor for smooth performance all round.

Nokia Asha 311 has a 1 GHz processor, 3 inch capacitive touch display protected by Gorilla glass, and offers WiFi and 3G connectivity. On top of that it comes with Nokia Maps that works without internet and has 45 lakh songs that can be downloaded and shared free of cost for three months and later bought at very cheap rates. There are also some 40 free games from EA (Electronic Arts) that can be downloaded free. The phone is priced at Rs 7,000 which is bang in the middle of the entry level Android price bracket.

Design

The Nokia brings Asha 311 with a nice metal finish and is slim as well as lightweight at just 98 grams. There are only two physical buttons placed on a chrome strip that runs along the phone below the screen. There is a volume rocker and a lock button on the right side of the phone. Nokia Asha 311 comes in attractive colours like grey, silver, blue and pink. 

With a 3-inch screen, the phone is smaller than most Android devices and is very pocketable. Further, the colour combinations available will appeal to most. 

Performance

 

The 1 GHz processor on Nokia Asha 311 makes it the fastest feature phone and is fast even by smartphone standards. Given that Series 40 operating system is meant for feature phones and is lite that way, a 1 GHz processor running it would presumably be faster than a 1 GHz processor running a smartphone operating system. However, how fast it really is will be known only when we test the phone. 

Asha 311 is the full touch screen feature phone from Nokia. It runs on S40Asha Operating System.

Camera

The phone has a 3.2 megapixel camera, which we haven't tested. However, it looks like the best in its range. 

Screen

Nokia Asha 311 gets a 3 inch touch display with 240 x 400 pixel resolution which is not great, but is a good match for the Android based Samsung Galaxy Y smartphone, which comes with 380 x 240 pixel resolution only. 

Asha 311's screen looks nice in terms of vivid colours and brightness. Touch is responsive thanks to the capacitive technology. The screen is protected by Gorilla glass, which is unique in this class.

We would have appreciated a bigger screen as homegrown brands are these days offering handsets with bigger screens in this price range. However, MNC rivals are offering the same screen size in this bracket.

Other features

Asha 311 has Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, 3G and USB connectivity. It has a proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensors. The phone comes with 128 MB of usable internal space but supports a 32 GB micro SD card. Nokia is offering a 2 GB data card free with this device. 

The only major feature the phone lacks is GPS (or A-GPS) which is there in all the Android based smartphones in this price bracket. However, it comes with Nokia Map application which is renowned for its navigational feature. But still, in the absence of GPS, Nokia Maps loses accuracy when calculating the user's location.

Other features like flash and front camera are not there either, but these two features are rarely found in phones in this category.
