Captain America Games for iPad.After the Harry Potter and the Rise of the Planet of the Apes app comes another app also tagging along a movie, but unlike the previous movies, this app is unofficial. It wasn't launched or developed to promote the movie as well, because it was developed by another team, unconnected to the upcoming movie's filmmakers.

Maybe it's just plain coincidence, or the developers of the game just have perfect timing, but in any case, just to keep details straight the upcoming Captain America, and this game is not connected with each other aside from the fact that they both honor the same superhero. The movie is about Captain America, as the First Avenger, while the game is about Captain America as the Sentinel of Liberty.

From the title itself, the two are already different. Also their story lines are way different from each other. Well in any case, both are still jampacked with American action and pride.

Captain America is always running in the game most of the time and it's up to you to lead him away from obstacles, either by hopping over them or eliminating them with your superpowers. You would also learn how important your shield is, because you cannot only use it a defense mechanism in the game but as a weapon as well, where you can throw it like a boomerang to destroy enemies and other things blocking your way.

You're not always running however. In some parts of the game, Captain America must also climb level per level to reach his goal. His ultimate goal is to stop the Red Skull, and to preserve the world's balance of power. Now in order to achieve this you have to get past minor enemies and obstacles as well. In the advancement of the game, it gets more and more difficult, but don't worry because aside from your shield, this Captain America game for ipad has other powers in store.

He has special punches, kicks, and other actions for you to discover. Sometimes the touch combinations that you need to perform in order for the character to perform a special action is showed on the screen, but other times, they're not so it's up to you to experiment on different touch combinations to maximize Captain's skills and techniques.

Aside from fulfilling your quest, you also have side quests to pursue during each level, and this is to collect hidden file-folders, aside from that, the game is all yours! Also, there are levels with special requirements so your better watch for those, like one level that requires you to finish it just within the given time.

This Captain America iPad game is very fun, though it just has a tendency to be a little over for the budget. It's $5 worth, but this game only contains 24 levels, and a practically easy and fast gameplay. But if you're really Captain America's fan, and you really don't care how  much the ipad game costs or how long your playing time is going to be, then go ahead and enjoy yourself.
