Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 inch Tablet will not, as previously suspected hot, Galaxy Tab 2, but derived its name from the screen size. The device is only 10.9 mm thin and 600 grams. It is therefore thinner and lighter than Apple's competitors (iPad 2: 13.4 mm, 730 g) and Motorola (Xoom: 12.9 mm, 730 g), that's why many called this new galaxy tab as thinnest tablet pc.

Otherwise, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and 1080p support and a 2-megapixel front camera is available. Other than that Xoom, Motorola will however not have a USB port and also have an HDMI connection is sought in vain. There will be but at least virtual surround sound.

The operating system of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is, of course, Android 3.0, "Honeycomb" sent into the race and all without the TouchWiz interface. The tablet is just like the Xoom, be a "Google Experience" device. Thus one can expect that the updates will arrive much faster for the Tablets of the devices because the manufacturer no longer have to customize user interface.

Much more has not been announced, unfortunately, but with a bit of luck Frank, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 can view at 1.10 Hands-on time with Samsung in more detail. We will of course keep you informed.
